Opportunity: Project Curator, History of the Collection (British Museum)
The British Museum are currently recruiting for an exciting Project Curator opportunity, which involves researching the history of their collections and identifying priorities for further work.
Key focuses include establishing the large scale processes in the chronology and sources of the development of the British Museum collection and pathways by which objects entered the collection, analysis and engagement with the broader historical contexts of the collecting, and amending documentation from the Museum databases about collectors and contexts of acquisition.
