Opportunity: Project Manager ‘Curating Discomfort’ Project, University of Glasgow

The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to coordinate the development and manage delivery of their ‘Curating Discomfort’ project. The post will be based at the museum in the University of Glasgow, and is funded by a grant from Museums Galleries Scotland. The advert closes on 29th March 2020.

The post holder will utilise the Nationally Significant collections of The Hunterian to devise, plan and deliver a series of museum interventions, community conversations and digital initiatives. The post holder should have prior experience of addressing diversity and inclusion issues within a museum environment, and use this to help the museum to establish new models, narratives and collaborations with partner institutions and audiences, re-shaping shape curatorial thinking within a major university museum.
