Opportunity: Soho House Young Advisory Board (Beetfreeks)
An exciting opportunity is currently being advertised by Soho House to become part of their Youth Advisory Board, an outcome of the earlier collaborations between Beetfreeks and Birmingham Museums Trust. Recruiting a group of around 5-8 people between the ages of 16 and 25, the Advisory Board will work alongside staff at Soho House as well as Birmingham Museums Trust as a whole, and be an important voice in the design, marketing and implementation of Soho House’s programme of events.
Board members will have the opportunity to participate and lead in a youth governance structure, and the role will provide a platform for presenting at board meetings and senior management meetings, and give an insight into the ways in which heritage organisations are managed. In addition, training workshops are provided and where necessary travel expenses may be reimbursed.
