Upcoming UoB Conference: ‘Word, Music, Image: Spaces in Time’

The first Annual Languages, Cultures, Art History and Music (LCAHM) Conference is taking place at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, University of Birmingham, on 14th May 2019.

‘Word, Music, Image: Spaces in Time’ invites participation from staff and postgraduate researchers via papers and posters from within the LCAHM department and the larger research community, to consider the tangible and intangible spaces found in word, music and image which take on special significance as they emanate and evolve. Crucially, these spaces are underpinned by time – a dimension that enables and advances them.

This is a free event and includes lunch and refreshments. Further details of how to book a place can be found on the conference’s Eventbrite page, and the department’s Twitter page also has regular updates about the event.
