Upcoming Event: ‘CreateSpace – Arts for Wellbeing’, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
A series of upcoming events taking place within the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery aims to provide arts for wellbeing activities throughout September and October. In partnership with Creative Health CIC, Wolverhampton Art Gallery, New Art Gallery Walsall and Staffordshire Libraries, and funded by the Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts programme, these CreateSpace events encourage any interested participants (no artistic experience necessary!) to come along and take part in the creative activities.
Led by Birmingham artists Juneau Projects, the event aims to emphasise that creative activities such as these sessions can improve wellbeing. The sessions are adults only, but are suitable for all abilities and materials and refreshments will be provided within the ticket price of £3. Places must be booked in advance as spaces are limited, but multiple bookings on more than one activity can be done.
For further information about upcoming session dates (all on Saturdays), visit the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery website.
