Upcoming Event: Decolonising the Curriculum Conference, University of Birmingham

The third annual ‘Decolonising the Cirriculum’ conference at the University of Birmingham will take place on Wednesday 18th March, a free event and student-led initiative that aims to consider and improve the diversity and inclusivity of the teaching that takes place at the University. Details of the conference are included in the image below, and the event will include a range of staff and student speakers who will discuss key aspects of the decolonising process.

The keynote speaker for the event is Professor Kehinde Andrews, an academic from Birmingham City University and activist who is also the founder of the Harambee Organisation of Black Unity.
