Upcoming Event: Displaying Human Remains, Liverpool World Museum

Liverpool World Museum are hosting a free talk featuring Dr Angela Steinne, Science Museum Research Fellow, and curators from National Museums Liverpool. This event will explore through interactive discussion the routines and rituals that museums go through as they decide whether or not to display human remains.

The talk will also discuss the ethical dilemmas and implications of curating human remains, and how the remains can be humanised through the stories that museums tell.

To book a place for the talk, visit the Liverpool Museums website. This event is part of a larger one night arts festival in Liverpool called LightNight, which provides a variety of cultural events across the city including concerts, exhibitions, talks, workshops and performances; for further details of other events taking place as part of the festival, visit the website.
